The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is India’s premier institute for fashion, design, management, and technology education.

NIFT was established in 1986 under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and is known for its industry-oriented curriculum, practical training, and strong global reputation in fashion education.

NIFT Exam Pattern 2027

The NIFT Entrance Exam is conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for admission into Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech), Master of Design (M.Des), Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech), and Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M) programs.

The selection process generally consists of two to three stages depending on the program.
